Dr. Francesco Bajardi

My research interests are mainly focused on studying the basic foundations of modified/alternative gravity theories, as well as their applications to theoretical cosmology and black holes. Specifically, easily-handled models to be investigated can be selected by the Noether Symmetry Approach, a selection criterion aimed at finding theories containing symmetries. The existence of them allows: i) to fix the form of the interaction Lagrangians ii) to reduce dynamics and find, eventually, exact solutions iii) to compare these solutions with experimental data iv) to develop the corresponding quantum model, based on the Arnowitt-Deser-Misner formalism, and find the Wave Function of the Universe.
