Dr. Micol Benetti

The main research interests are in cosmology, both in its theoretical and observational aspects. Her expertise is in the study of the Early Universe and the observational constraints of alternative models to standard cosmology. She is also interested in the investigation of the recent expansion of the Universe and the tensions that have emerged in the last decade.  Her research activities include comparing theories with observational data using MCMC algorithms and Boltsmann solver codes to simulate observational model predictions, the results of these analyses are essential for understanding the properties of the universe and the validity of cosmological models.
