Dr. Rocco D'Agostino

I work in the field of theoretical cosmology with a particular focus in effective dark energy models and extended theories of gravity.

I developed model-independent techniques to reconstruct the gravitational actions in different formalisms and discriminate among cosmological models able to explain the accelerated expansion of the Universe.

I am also interested in analysis of cosmological perturbations in non-standard scenarios, and in evaluating constraints on scalar-tensor theories from gravitational waves observations.
